Volunteers

Volunteer registration will open for the 2015 TCS New York City Marathon on November 3, 2014. Make sure to encourage everyone to be a part of next year's excitement by signing up to register the day after this year' Marathon.

Charities

There are close to 300 Official Charity Partners in the 2014 TCS New York City Marathon.

• The Official Charity Partners are designated Gold, Silver, Bronze or Community partners.
• Each charity has its own fundraising minimum but all charities require at least $2,500.
• Questions about a runner's fundraising status should be directed to the charity manager.

Expo Shuttle

Free shuttle buses to and from select hotels and transit hubs will operate during the following hours (see map):

Select Manhattan hotels:

• Thursday and Friday: Every 10 minutes from 9:30a.m. to 8:30p.m.
• Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Transit hubs (Penn Station and Grand Central Terminal):

• Thursday and Friday: Every 30 minutes from 9:30a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and every 15 minutes from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30p.m.
• Saturday: Every 30 minutes from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and every 15 minutes from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30p.m.

Athletes with Disabilities

All AWD athletes and guides are pre-registered and pre­ assigned. There are no race day opportunities to volunteer as a guide unless you're pre-designated. Wheelchair and handcycle AWD athletes have their own designated starts at 8:30 a.m. and 8:55a.m. All ambulatory AWD athletes and guides will start at the end of Wave 1 on the green course via private entrance. All AAWD runners starting in Wave 1 green must access their corral from the AWD compound in the green village.
